Job description
The objective of this role:
The Production Cleaner will be responsible for efficiently and effectively cleaning and maintaining our facilities. To keep our facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
• Responsible for the daily cleanliness of the production and related areas.
• Housekeeping – Clean, stock, service and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling, vents, restroom cleaning etc).
• Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is filled in and up to date as required.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
Minimum requirements
Education, experience & competencies required:·
• Grade 12/Matric/Equivalent.
1 - 2 Years relevant industry experience
• Ability to handle equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies advantageous.
• Cooperative, proactive, and willing-Friendly.
• Physically competent.
Understand and carry out lawful instructions.• Disciplined and time conscious.
• Ability to work quickly and perform well under pressure.
