The purpose of the Raw Material Team Leader is the execution of product dispatching, receiving, and stock control. The Raw Material Team Leader will ensure that the storage area contributes its part in achieving customer delivery excellence and any other reasonable instruction.
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage raw material receiving, dispatching, and inventory control
Maintain accurate stock levels, daily counts, and monthly stock takes
Replenish production materials to prevent stock-outs
Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO, GMP, and FSSC 22000 standards
Enforce housekeeping, safety, and food safety requirements
Lead and support warehouse staff and resolve operational challenges
Minimum requirements
Qualification:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Supply Chain, Warehouse or Logistics Management Qualification Advantageous
Experience
- 2 – 3 years stores or warehousing experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of FIFO and Warehousing Principles
- Preferably experience within the FMCG industry
- Leadership and supervisory experience(advantageous)
