Introduction
The successful candidate will be the Custodian of the Management system, and the adherence thereof, while managing plant hygiene (including micro), and ensuring both incoming quality, and product specification requirements are met.
Job description

Responsibilities include: 
  • Micro measurement and validation of the process  across equipment and product. 
  • Ensure that staff adhere to the cleaning regimes is required for all process areas.
  • Investigate deviations to the standard, root cause established, and put preventative measures in place to eliminate further risk.
  • Lead and develop the quality team to ensure skills gaps are closed, developing competent people, who value the role they play as a partner to the production teams in delivering quality products at all times.
  • Monthly compliance measures to ensure that the management system remains relevant in our lives. Improvements to be recommended at the food safety meetings. 
  • Conduct refresher training, inspection and measurements to ensure both compliance from a statutory point, personal hygiene in the work place, and product quality is met

Qualification:

  •  Grade 12
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Quality Related

Experience:

  •   Must have 5 years of experience 
  •   Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at      all  levels of the organization.
  •   ISO9001, ISO18000, ISO22000
  •   HACCP
  •   Hygiene Practices
  •   Micro Management
  •   Quality Assurance/Internal Audit
  •   2 years Laboratory Management
 
 

Minimum requirements

Core /Technical Business Knowledge:
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Ability to understand and implement complex finance solutions
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple issues simultaneously
