Job description

 Your Role at Twizza:

As a Microbiology Intern, you will:

  • Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, water, in-process and finished beverage products.

  • Perform environmental monitoring of production facilities.

  • Assist in interpreting test results and reporting non-conformances.

  • Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene audits.

  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure accurate sample tracking.

-Must not currently be or have previously been part of a SETA funded internship or graduate program

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
  • Never participated in an internship before (SETA-funded or otherwise)
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Passion for food safety and microbiological standards
