Job description

Provide First-Line IT Support
  • Offer prompt and efficient first-line support to users, addressing their IT inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Take charge of the IT Helpdesk, ensuring incidents are logged and resolved promptly to maintain seamless operations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets. 
Device Installation and Support
  • Perform installation, configuration, and support for computers, notebooks, tablets, and mobile phones to facilitate seamless user experiences.
  • Skilfully administer Office 365 and Microsoft platforms, ensuring user access and optimizing productivity.
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of software applications used by various departments/users, ensuring smooth functionality and providing proper support.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
  • Monitor the network alerting system, promptly addressing, and resolving network issues or escalating as needed.
Asset Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records to effectively manage IT resources.
Software Application Reliability
  • Track and improve the reliability of software applications by reducing downtime and addressing issues promptly.
Security Compliance
  • Ensure Windows Server security compliance through regular audits and updates.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 
  • Diploma in Information Technology (advantageous)
  • Relevant IT Certifications (A , N , Azure Administrator) (advantageous)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Desktop Support.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Active Directory
    • Office 365 Cloud Administration
    • Endpoint Manager
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Hyper V
    • DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
    • Veeam Backup
    • Basic VOIP skills
  • Knowledge of wireless networks, routing, switching, and VLANs.
