As a Communications Intern, you will:
Assist in drafting and designing internal communication materials — including newsletters, announcements, and posters.
Support basic marketing tasks such as coordinating campaigns, preparing promotional materials, and planning social media content.
Collaborate with the HR team on internal initiatives, including wellness days, employee recognition, and culture-building communications.
Provide HR administrative support, including recordkeeping, training documentation, and onboarding/induction logistics.
Help manage and update internal communication, HR, and marketing calendars and trackers.
Assist with general administrative and communication requests across departments as needed.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative mindset and ability to contribute to content and messaging
Organised and detail-oriented, with a willingness to handle administrative work
Computer literate (Microsoft Office; Canva is an advantage but not essential)
No prior participation in a SETA-funded internship or graduate programme
Team player with professionalism, initiative, and a can-do attitude
