Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budget planning process for assigned regions and departments.
- Conduct variance analysis for Regional Commercial and Marketing Management accounts, providing solutions to prevent deviations.
- Develop "what-if" costing models for new customer opportunities and product pricing.
- Manage pricing, trading terms compliance, and profitability for customers, channels, and products.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports, and participate in commercial reviews.
- Implement and maintain financial controls, ensuring compliance and cost management.
- Perform month-end reconciliations, budget forecasting, and order management processes.
Minimum requirements
What skills & competencies do I require for this opportunity?
- B. Com in Accounting/Finance (Honors will be an advantage).
- SAIPA/SAICA accreditation or similar welcomed.
- 5 years of accounting experience, with 3 years in financial reporting and variance analysis and 2 years Financial Control.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls, ideally in FMCG/Commercial industries.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (advantageous).
