Introduction
Manage checker operators to efficiently load all trailers correctly the first time and ensure all documentation is completed correctly and loads verified daily.
Job description
· Execute load planning and verify physical stock loaded versus invoice quantities
· Verify outgoing and incoming shipments
· Perform administrative duties i.e. document control for trips, etc.
· Stock Control
· Optimize team performance
· Checker Operator management
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
· Code 08 (B) driver’s license
· A minimum of two years’ experience in a warehouse and logistic environment
· Must be proficient in MS Office
· Good numerical ability
· The ability to work under pressure
· Deals effectively with change
· A positive attitude under all circumstances
· Able to work rotating shifts
· Able to work for sustained longer hours if necessary
