The apprenticeship training will follow a structured, hands-on programme under the supervision of qualified Artisan. At the end of training the apprentice is expected to be competent in the operations and maintenance of High speed bottling machinery, injection molding and utilities.
Job description

We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Quality Intern role based in our Cape Town operations.
The Quality Intern will be responsible for conducting micro-biological tests on all products manufactured. Ensuring that results are communicated and corrected. Complying with company standards and procedures.
They will also work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability; and will also assist to ensure nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned.

 Calibration and verification of equipment
·      Good laboratory practices
·      Accurate measurement
·      Sterilisation of media
·      Pour plates
·      Microbiology analysis of the Final product.
·      Environmental monitoring
·      Recording Keeping
·      Product quality inspection, report of non-conformances and trouble shooting
·      chemical analysis of finished goods

Minimum requirements

•        BSC or National Diploma in Biotechnology, Micro-Biology,or Food Technology
•        Must have completed all S4 Subjects .
•        Never participated in an internship before
·      Computer Literate in Microsoft Office applications
