Position summary

Job description
· Full co-ordination of recruitment, advertising, shortlisting, screening, and interviewing of candidates for agreed levels.
· Onboarding of new hires and off boarding terminations.
· Working knowledge of VIP payroll and Jarrison time and attendance & ensure timeous monthly submissions to Payroll with due consideration of cut-off dates.
· HR Operations feedback in preparation for management meetings.
· Administer engagement surveys and identify and assist with improvement initiatives.
· Organizing & facilitation of meetings ie. and work place forums & Employment Equity meetings including agenda’s and minutes.
· Generate employment equity reports, agenda, minutes – ensure compliance at all times.
· Consult and advise management and staff on labour relations issues.
· Represent the company at CCMA for Conciliation & Arbitration dispute resolution processes.
· Facilitate disciplinary hearings and prepare minutes and documentation, applicable prior to and post hearings.
· Compilation of weekly and monthly reports.
· Annalise reports to identify trends
· Staff consultation as and when required, including day to day queries which may arise.
· Organizing monthly employee engagement activities including CSI related community projects.
· Record keeping & filing of all HR-related information according to checklist provided.
· Ensure Job Descriptions and SOPs are always in place and up to date.
· Assist with policy reviews and ensure these are always available and/or accessible to staff.
· Ensure staff engagement is managed.
· Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality.
· Co-ordinate the sourcing, delivery, and evaluation of training to approved plan.
· Maintain all training information required for annual WSP and ATR submissions.
Minimum requirements
What Education, Core Knowledge and Experience will afford me this opportunity
· Matric / Grade 12
· 3-year Degree or National Diploma in HR Management or equivalent
· At least 3 – 5 years HR Officer experience within a manufacturing environment.
· At least 2 - 3 years Industrial Relations experience, including but not limited to, disciplinary hearings, case and case file preparation, handling of disputes, grievances, union interaction, practical application of Labour Law principles and CCMA procedures.
· Registration as an SDF is advantageous.
· Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word, intermediate to advanced).
· Code 08 driver’s license.
