A Forklift Operator (Raw Materials) is responsible for safely offloading, moving, and supplying raw materials to all production areas while ensuring no damage occurs during handling. The role includes conducting daily forklift checks, maintaining a clean forklift and charging area, and adhering to all Health & Safety, Quality, and FSSC 22000 standards. The operator must apply FIFO/FEFO principles, report any defects or food safety concerns, and follow reasonable instructions from the Raw Materials Team Leader. The position requires Grade 12, a valid forklift license, and at least six months’ operating experience, along with strong technical skills, initiative, and sound decision-making.
