Job description

 Your Role at Twizza:

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will:

  • Assist with mechanical inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance on production machinery.

  • Support line technicians and artisans in resolving breakdowns to minimise downtime.

  • Help implement production and maintenance improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance reporting and adherence to safety and quality protocols.

  • Participate in machine efficiency optimisation and problem-solving sessions.

-Must not currently be or have previously been part of a SETA funded internship or graduate program

Minimum requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (completed or currently completing Work Integrated Learning / In-Service Training)

  • No prior participation in a SETA-funded internship or graduate programme

  • Computer literate (especially MS Excel & Word)

  • Mechanical aptitude with interest in FMCG production equipment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities

  • Willingness to work shifts and in a high-pressure production environment
